    About Angela Parker

I am the co-founder and consultant for Realized Worth, based in Toronto, Canada and working with clients across the globe. My expertise lies in communicating and distributing the work, words, and ideas of Realized Worth and companies implementing Employee Volunteer Programs and CSR strategies.

My partner, Chris Jarvis, and I are the Canadian representatives of 3BLMedia.com and enjoy spreading the word about their great work helping organizations tell their corporate social responsibility stories across the social web.

We have been privileged to work directly with the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship. Recently we acted as advisers in the writing of “Mapping Success in Employee Volunteering: The Drivers of Effectiveness for Employee Volunteering and Giving Programs and Fortune 500 Performance” authored by Bea Boccalandro. We also act as expert writers on several websites including Volunteer Canada’s CorporateVolunteering.ca,and Businessfightspoverty.com. We are currently collaborating on a book which will be a comprehensive guide to Corporate Social Responsibility for HR managers.

I currently divide my time between Toronto, Ontario and Indianapolis, Indiana where I thoroughly enjoy my husband and his four children. When I'm not writing for Realized Worth, my activities include good music, good books, and good food.

Chris recently had the opportunity to appear as a guest on the show. Its called Career Buzz and its hosted by Mark Franklin at the University of Toronto. I imagine that many of you are experiencing the evolutionary processes of your own careers and just might find yourselves encouraged by the topics on Career Buzz.

If you're interested in hearing some of Chris' story, you can listen to it by clicking on this link: http://www.careercycles.com/career-buzz/2009-career-buzz-shows  (The show is called "Creating Moments of Epiphany.")
